Hello my readers, recently I have been checking my competitors for pricing and quality.Also looking at them for the way they handle phone calls coming in. Who is answering those calls and how much experience those people have telling you what you need to know.One, are they telling you the correct information about the products you need to know or want to buy.In my last survey I found the competitor told the customer such a line I almost fell I the floor in tears.Please folks, when it comes to this trade , the glass and glazing field, call me and ask the questions.Because the competition has a big name and has been here for a long , long time, most of the time they cant find people with the experience to do this type of work and the answer for the questions you are asking.They come up with a line just to get you of the phone.The pricing you are receiving for material that is not custom done by hand.They are buying some were over seas and shipping into the US that is done in repetition one after another .Like the out door table sets for example.When they break, to replace that is a custom lite of glass being done by me in my shop,so the cost of it is going to be just as much as the whole set if not more. Any piece you buy in a store all put together ,ready to go out the door is what we call pre - fabbed. When a glass company does one of these projects, or even a broken pane of glass.In your house,this is a custom job done by me with the experience of 33 years.This type of work,everything is done by hand with the most skill set in the business.Give me a call and you will get the most professional advice in this trade.My Dad was in this from 1949 till 1992 when he passed.I was the youngest of 5 being with my Dad every minute of the day.I learned this trade very well and want to pass this on to you,my customer.
